Do I need to purchase a meal plan?

Yes! It's a great value and it is Coker College's policy that all designated campus residents purchase a meal plan each semester.

What is Cobra Cash?

Cobra Cash are cash values included in all meal plans. They work like a prepaid debit card with funds kept on your student ID card. They may be used at any on-campus dining location. The Cobra Cash included with the 7, 14, or 21 Meal Plans does not carry over to a new semester.

Does Cobra Cash carry over from year to year?

Cobra Cash included with the Meal plan does not carry over from semester to semester.  Voluntary Cobra Cash added by the student does carry over from semester to semester.

Can I change my meal plan if it does not fit my needs?

Yes! Changing to a bigger or smaller meal plan can be done up until DROP/ADD Day of Each Semester.

If I'm not a Resident Hall Student, where do I buy my meal plan?

A Meal Plan can be purchased from the Coker College Business Office.

Cobra Cash can also be purchased at the Coker College Business Office.

Important Info

Lost or Stolen Meal Cards
Lost or stolen ID Cards can be replaced for a $15 replacement fee.  Should this happen to you contact The Student Services office at (843) 383-8035.

Lost or stolen SOGO cards will need to be addressed to the Dining Services General Manager, Rick Gant (843) 383-8139

Meal Plan Changes
Drop/Add day of each semester is the Final day for to have the opportunity to change your Dining Meal Plan. Simply visit the Dining Services Office in the Susanne G. Linville Dining Hall Building during business hours to make the change.

Dietary Needs
Do you have particular dietary needs?  Please let us know.  Our Campus Dining Services Program can accommodate your special dietary requirements.  For more information, please contact The Dining Services Main office in Linville Dining Hall, at (843) 383-8142, or e-mail our General Manager Rick Gant, at rick.gant@sodexo.com. Sodexo shall supply any medically required special diets for Resident Dining Patrons when prescribed and approved in writing by a medical doctor.

Policies and Procedures
One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:

  • Please bus your dishes and disposables from your table when you have finished dining
  • Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.

Remember that SOGO cards are non-transferable.  ID cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.
